Anyone can refer themselves to a Psychologist. Some clients will be entitled to Medicare rebates if they are referred by their Doctor. You should discuss this with your Doctor.
Depending on your health insurance policy, you may also be able to claim psychological services via private health insurance. Please check with your private health provider regarding your eligibility for psychological services rebate.
